TEXAS LICENSE PLATE HONORING OUR CIVIL WAR HERITAGE

Considering that Texas taxpayers will now have to foot the bill for a lawsuit, do you think the DMV Board was correct in rejecting the proposal for a license plate honoring our Civil War heritage?
TEXAS LICENSE PLATE HONORING OUR CIVIL WAR HERITAGE
Considering the Sons of the Confederate Veterans have successfully sued in many other states for the right to for these license plates, I think rejecting this proposal is an unnecessary expense on the Texas taxpayers. If the racist hate group the NAACP wants to suppress our American history, they should foot the bill for this unnecessary lawsuit from the Sons of the Confederate Veterans that will ultimately be successful in their favor.

Group Files Lawsuit to Get Confederate Flag License Plate sites Free Speech
Well ....
Here is your lawsuit. We new this one was coming. The nine member DMV board will lose this lawsuit at the Texas taxpayers expense. These lawsuits of Free Speech have been successful in every state they have been filed in. And, to add insult here, the same day the DMV voted down the Confederate license plate, the same board approved a license plate that honors the Buffalo Soldiers. This was an all black Calvary in the 1800's that helped fight the Native Americans. This plate is thought to be offensive to Native Americans, passed on the same day as the Confederate plate was voted down.
Double standard? Well of course ... we're all use to that but, moreover .... why did this DMV board reject a plate knowing they would be sued and lose at the taxpayer's expense?
