Are whites racially oppressed?
This was a story from CNN I came across on Friday March 4th on the liberal CBS19's website. By, Sunday the article was removed from the main site along with my comment of course. Here is a link to the CBS19 article. I am not sure how long this link will still be good.

Here is the link to the original story on CNN in case CBS19 decides to remove the story from their site altogether.

Actually, I am shocked that CBS19 would run a story like this to begin with. But, this was a liberal slanting story from CNN. However, it didn't last 36 hours on CBS19's website. Below is to comment I posted under this story on CBS19 that was removed, along with this story from their main website.
Examples of double standards and racism against white people that exist in this Country today.
There is the United Negro College Fund.
There is Martin Luther King Day.
There is Black History Month.
There is Cesar Chavez Day.
There is Ma'uled Al-Nabi.
Thee is the NAACP.
There is BET....(Black Entertainment Television)
If there were WET (White Entertainment Television), it would be be racists.
If there were a White Pride Day, it would be racists.
If there were a White History Month, it would be racists.
If there were any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR lives, it would be racists.
There is a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of Commerce, and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.
Wonder who pays for that??
There is a Congressional Hispanic Caucus and a Congressional Black Caucus.
If there were a Congressional White Caucus, if would be racist.
There is a Congressional TEA Party Caucus and it has been labeled racist.
A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant, but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.
If there were a college fund that only gave white students scholarships... You know it would be racists.
There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US ..
Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist college.
In the Million Man March, it is believed that blacks are marching for their race and rights.
Yet when whites and blacks march as TEA Party members for our Constitutional Rights, it is labeled as Racist.
It is appropriate to be proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and there is no fear to announce it.
But when if white people announce their white pride, it is called racists.
White people are more often victims of black on white crime than white on black crime.
White people are robbed, car jacked, attacked at political rallies and shot at.
But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer
running from the law and posing a threat to society, he is labeled a racist.
Theses are just a few examples of the double standards and oppressions white people face in this Country today and I can back it up with youtube videos and/or news articles. But this comment will most likely be removed from this website giving further examples of the racism white people face in this Country.
Well you guessed it, not only did CBS19 remove my comment they also removed the story. What do you think? Was I out of line for posting that comment? Was the comment irrelevant to the story? Is my comment not true and a clear representation of the oppression white people face in this Country?
Or, is CBS19 in typical mainstream media fashion censoring my comment simple because they oppose people who oppose their agendas and half truths in reporting?

The reason those organizations were formed was to help minorities. You have never been a minority, therefore you did not need of one but times are changing my friend. You might want to start one now because you are heading in that direction. Take a look at the Census results.

I will never need hand-outs "Yes it's me" nor will I ever be part of a racist organization regardless of the cause. And, maybe you should do a little research. A minority status has nothing to do with numbers in a population. Minorities will always be minorities regardless of their numbers.

Re: Are whites racially oppressed?
Short answer - no.
Long answer - No group in the US is currently "oppressed". This is a gross hyperbole of the situation faced by any group in modern society.
However, there are some groups who are censored, mistrusted, cornered, challenged, and generally mistreated by our society more than other groups. Mostly, this applies to gays and to atheists.
There are also some groups who are at an innate disadvantage in modern society due mostly to the environments they come from, and that includes most racial minorities, which are still minorities both legally and population-wise.
